Dedications
Those Who Made This Project Come to Life
To the people mentioned below, thank you for your help with this project. You decided to take a chance dedicating time and resources to a student with a vision, and I hope that I can eventually repay those who have given me so much.

You gave a student with a vague initial project the opportunity to explore his vision. I came to you with the intent of pursuing a mental health-related interest for Mines, and you let me become the first undergrad to be a part of your Every Oredigger initiative. When you let me have a spot on the Every Oredigger chairs meetings, I felt a certain joy that came from working among important administrators and staff. Thank you for connecting me with everyone else from EO, and I am excited to work with you in the future.

You took me under your wing as I joined the campus culture change subcommittee of Every Oredigger. You sat down with me and discussed my vision for my practicum, and you always made sure to dedicate time during the committee discussions to take a look at the progress of my project. You motivated me to continue my work during times of stress, and you always reminded me to focus on the 'bigger picture' of things. I am incredibly excited to have you as a teacher next semester, and I am happy to continue working with you on bettering the culture of Mines.

When I had nowhere to begin when starting my practicum, I emailed you for direction. You immediately connected me with those leading the Every Oredigger initiative, and you helped me find the perfect medium for my practicum. Being one of the peer educator facilitators, you helped me bridge my project with the roles and responsibilities of a peer educator at Mines, and you reminded me to always carefully consider my intentions. Going to Baltimore with you was a great time, and I am ecstatic to continue to be a peer educator for the Spring!
Chairs & Members of EveryOredigger
Many wondered at first who was the undergrad sitting among staff, faculty, and administrators during the Every Oredigger meetings. Eventually, you all helped me feel like a member of the initiative, and I became comfortable to share my ideas and opinions during open discussions. I appreciate that you took crucial time from the meetings to review and critique my practicum deliverable iterations, and I want to thank all of you for the work you put in into making the campus a better place.

At 8am on a Monday in August, I came to you with the idea that I wanted to pursue a practicum related to mental health and wellbeing. You guided me through the learning process while ensuring that I was having a meaningful experience throughout the semester. I always had a tendency to do a certain 'thing,' but you always encouraged me to broaden my options and challenge my current ways of thinking. I am incredibly lucky that you were my advisor for this life-defining project and course.
McBride Honors Program
Without the McBride Honors program, there would be no practicum. I want to thank those involved with the creation of McBride as well as the practicum course as it continuously inspires students to embark on a project that could change their lives. I am extremely thankful that Mines houses this liberal arts and honors program for it has kept me in touch with my humanity while being at an engineering school.

I approached you with an email expressing my interest in displaying my project in the library, and you immediately granted me arguably the best wall in the entire building. You were extremely patient as I went through numerous iterations of my final deliverable, and you were always reliable. Thank you for dedicating an afternoon during finals week (and your command strips) to help me hang up my wooden boards for the installation. I can't wait to work with you again next year to add on to the quotes!
